A prototype for a more active and playful way to create Generative art
Most generative AI tools rely on text prompts, creating a passive relationship between artist and output. The creator describes what they want rather than building it directly. This VR prototype explores what happens when you replace text input with direct spatial manipulation.
The tool lets users arrange 3D models and characters in space, animate them through motion capture of their own movements, and control camera positioning and focal length with their hands. A realtime AI model generates the final render as they work, providing immediate visual feedback.
This prototype is available on SideQuest, where it received over 9000 downloads.
